These are some of the fresh vegetables that my roomates and i got at the market this weekend. THe market is called Mercato Centrale, and was full of fresh vegetables, cheese, meat and seafood. We walked around trying to figure out which booth to choose. We saw full chickens, and all sorts of parts of animals i wasnt too sure of what i was looking at. After settling for just vegetables since we werent too sure of how to go about ordering meat off of a whole cow, we walked all around the city doing mostly window shopping. We found an English book store, so we know now where to go if we need some reading for down time. We came back and started dinner, which was amazing. Fresh sauteed veggies and pasta with a red pesto sauce. The night before we made gnocchi, which was just as good!
Its quite cold here, it was about 25 degrees this morning walking to class, which is weird because this weeked i was in just one shirt.... the weather fluctuates like crazy.
Time to go present some work to Elena we did over the weekend,
Until next time..
How about some pictures of the market?
